Whitewater Cooks
Whitewater Ski resort's Fresh Track's cafe had long been famous for it's delicious, hearty-yet-sophisticated fare when the owner, Shelley Adams, approached us about creating this book. Shelley's vision for Whitewater Cooks was to have all the recipes she was constantly being begged for by adoring fans of her cooking, collected in a book that people could use in their own kitchens.
The cookbook had to be two things: beautiful and functional.
To take care of the former, we chose a colour palette that was complementary to the rich hues of Shelley's food. We designed a layout for the book that showcased huge, detailed photos of mouthwatering meals and showed off the breathtaking scenery of the Whitewater resort as well.
To allow for maximum functionality, we designed the book with large, easy to read text, durable wipe-clean pages for kitchen spills and splatters, and a spine that allows the book to lay flat when open open.
Whitewater Cooks at Home
The follow-up book to Whitewater Cooks, Shelley Adams brings her own personal flare and style to this fabulous book. With even more recipes than the first, and a fresh update to the look, we worked with Shelley to design the book to pair nicely with the first, while adding elements of color and personality that define Shelley's cooking as well as her home life.

Fine Spark
An innovative and bold company who distributes designer matches. We created a complete series of designs for the packaging of the matchsticks, which was eagerly received by the market. We are proud to announce that the matches are available in over 20 stores across America as well as several high-end stores in the Kootenay area.
1000 Flowers
A natural perfume and skin care company, specializing in high-end products and promoting all natural ingredients. A brand identity redesign was due as well as developing beautiful and tactile packaging and promotional solutions.

Web site creation for the Human Resources sector of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. A unified and easy to use site made the hiring process much easier and friendly for prospective employees.

Early Years
Brand identity created for Early Years, an early childhood development initiative that provides resources for children up to six years old. They wanted something that would be appealing to everyone, from parents to government employees involved in the organization.
Bright, bold colors were used to grab attention and stand them apart from other similar organizations, creating a unique look for their region. To incorporate a lot of text facts, we created a dynamic backside, combining text with childlike imagery.
Araya Day Spa and Salon
Bringing out the beauty.
Brand identity for a high quality day spa, offering a wide range of products and services, with exceptional customer service. Araya had beautiful interior design, services and rooms, but was lacking an image that would tell the true story of what customers would experience at the spa. A color palette inspired by the tropical and natural feeling to the spa was used along with beautiful imagery and whimsical use of text for the tagline.

Hear Say
Brand Identity development for a professional writer. Sabine wanted something that was unique to her personality and style but would still be appealing for all clients. Based around her business name and a clever play on words, the tagline was incorporated into the logotype to unify the image and her services. On the backside of the card, we showcased exactly what it is she does, by literally correcting our "mistake". With the printed cards, she hand corrects each one with red marker.

When the chiropractic company branched away from shared office space, they wanted to differentiate and individualize their company to appeal to a wider customer base and attract new clients. We injected new energy and vibrancy into the creation of a solid and unified brand.
